Rex A-style Mandolin

We’re loving this great little Rex A-style mandolin. From the 1920′s, it features sumptuous straight grain Brazilian Rosewood back and sides, spruce top and a lovely voice. Original tuners with metal plate on the back of the headstock, binding and pickguard are all in great shape. A super choice for old time music and front porch jams. $500

Sweet little cylinder back mandolin from the 1920′s. Built by the Vega instrument company in Boston, MA. Spruce top, mahogany back and sides. Beautiful little sunburst finish, star MOP inlay, all hardware appears to be original, binding intact. Produces one of the sweetest, brightest voices in the shop. In great shape. $1000.
